The purpose of this web site is to provide a resource for 'Callawegians' and recent transplants to Callaway County and generally for those interested in the history of this area. It is intended to provide an insight into the conditions prevalent in the area and the lives of the earlier settlers of the area and present detailed documentation of the development of this historic region of the State of Missouri. We hope that you will find the information that we present here to be both interesting and informative, and will provide a historical resource for those who do not fully understand their history.
